If you're worried about your mental wellbeing, a GP is a great place to start. They can guide you through your options and recommend a program to help.

How will I know if I’m eligible for a video session with a mental health professional?
During the COVID-19 crisis you can contact PSYCH2U on 1300 472 866 to find out about eligibility.

Are the online sessions confidential? Will my doctor get my results?
Yes, they’re confidential. HCF won’t receive any personal information about what’s discussed during your PSYCH2U sessions. PSYCH2U is bound by its privacy policy, the same as if you were consulting face-to-face with a mental health professional. With your permission, PSYCH2U can share your information with your GP or specialist.

Will I have the same mental health professional for all my sessions?
You can choose to have the same mental health professional during your PSYCH2U sessions. Keep in mind if you’ve asked for a particular person, your wait times may be longer.

Who is eligible for Calm Kid Central?
If you’ve held hospital or extras cover for 12 months and have a child aged between 4 and 11 years old on your policy, you and your child may be eligible for Calm Kid Central at no cost. Excluded on Accident Only cover and Overseas Visitors Health cover.
