Change your relationship with alcohol
Hello Sunday Morning has a mission to change the world’s relationship with alcohol. Its flagship program, Daybreak, is a free digital service that Aussies can access through an app or the web. It gives you an anonymous and supportive environment to set alcohol behaviour-change goals and connects you with an online community. No matter how busy you are or where you live, Daybreak is accessible at any time on a smartphone with no waiting lists, so you can get the support you need, when you need it⁺.
It's Easy to Access Mental Health Support
HELP FOR KIDS WITH BIG FEELINGS^
HCF members with hospital or extras cover get free and confidential access to an online educational and support program through our partnership with Calm Kid Central^. The programs help kids aged 4–11 with:
- access to a team of experienced child psychologists, who'll answer unlimited questions within 48 hours
- videos and articles to help you support your child emotionally
- courses and resources for children to help them better manage their feelings.
PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH VIDEO CONSULTATIONS

Woebot# is an automated mental health chatbot – a robot designed to help you learn about yourself, improve your mood and awareness and manage your state of mind.
Designed by psychologists from Stanford University, Woebot delivers evidenced-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles in a relaxed conversational way.
FREE ONLINE SELF-HELP COURSES
Access a range of online courses through THIS WAY UP#, an initiative developed by experienced psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, to help you take control of your mental wellbeing.
Clinically proven, the courses are designed to help you understand and improve mental challenges like stress, insomnia, worry, anxiety and depression. From 1 July 2020, if you access the courses without a supervising clinician the cost is $59 for each course. However, if prescribed by a clinician the courses are free.

How will I know if I’m eligible for a video session with a mental health professional?
During the COVID-19 crisis you can contact PSYCH2U on 1300 472 866 to find out about eligibility.
Are the online sessions confidential? Will my doctor get my results?
Will I have the same mental health professional for all my sessions?
You can choose to have the same mental health professional during your PSYCH2U sessions. Keep in mind, if you’ve asked for a particular person, your wait times may be longer.
Who is eligible for Calm Kid Central?
If you’ve held hospital or extras cover for 12 months and have a child aged between 4–11 years old on your policy, you and your child may be eligible for Calm Kid Central at no cost. Excluded on Accident Only Basic cover and Overseas Visitors Health cover.
