Preparing for your procedure

Tests and imaging

You may need to have some blood tests, a chest x-ray and an electrocardiogram (ECG). Sometimes an angiogram is performed as a separate procedure.

If you’re taking any prescription medications, make sure your doctor is aware of them. They’ll advise you whether to stop taking them before the procedure.

Going to hospital

What to expect on the day of your procedure.
