Here are some common questions and answers about GP2U.
All GP2U doctors are experienced, qualified and have Australian registration where they meet medical qualification requirements.
You can talk to your GP via video or telephone call about health issues like common coughs and colds, sexual health issues and general emotional wellbeing. You can also request specialist referrals, prescriptions and medical certificates.
First, register for GP2U online. You can then book your appointment.
A few minutes before your appointment, you’ll receive an SMS or email with a link, which you can open in Google Chrome. This will take you to the virtual waiting room.
Your GP will start the session when they’re ready to see you.

If you’re using a desktop computer, we recommend using a Google Chrome browser, which has an inbuilt video player that works with the platform.

* Available to all HCF Overseas Visitors members (except Overseas Visitors Basic Cover). Standard GP online consultation of up to 10 minutes. Eligible members under 16 years may need to have a parent or guardian present.
