THURSDAY DECEMBER 1, 2022: Australian consumers have voted Australia’s oldest health insurer, RT Health, the Best Health Insurance product for 2023 in the ProductReview.com.au annual awards.

The not-for-profit health insurer was recognised with an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars from customers over the past 12 months, providing consistently outstanding value and service.

Customers rated RT Health most highly for Customer Service (4.7 out of 5); Transparency (4.5 out of 5); and Value for Money (4.3 out of 5). RT Chief Simone Tregeagle said the recognition from members was an honour.

“We’re very proud of the care we provide our members by helping them make the right decisions when it comes to their and their family’s health,” Ms Tregeagle said.

“At RT Health we’re a mutual not-for-profit insurer which means that we exist for our members and not for shareholders. This award is testament to our commitment to stand true to that promise.

“We know health insurance can be complicated, which is why we’re so pleased our members have told us they value our service when it comes to navigating their healthcare journeys.”

RT Health looks after the rail, transport, electrical and energy industries and merged with HCF Australia in 2021.
