The Spin to Win competition is the latest promotion available through the new HCF Thank You app. It’s a way for us to say thank you for being an HCF member by giving you a chance to win 1 of over 370 prizes. Eligible Entrants

Entry is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years of age or over and have an active HCF health, life or Overseas Visitors Health Insurance policy with their premiums up to date (excluding Ambulance Only Cover and RT Health Cover) at the time of entry into the Promotion.

How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

  1. download the HCF Thank You App (“HCF App”) from the App Store or Google Play (using their compatible mobile device) and successfully complete the registration process to use the HCF App. If an Eligible Entrant already has the HCF App, they must log into their account; 
  2. link their HCF policy to their HCF App (if they haven’t done so already); 
  3. click on the ‘Spin the Wheel’ tile on the HCF App; and 
  4. play the virtual ‘Spin the Wheel’ game as prompted. 

‘Spin the Wheel’ game: The spinning wheel will be composed of wedges indicating one of the Spin the Wheel Prizes below. When the needle/spinner lands on a wedge after the wheel stops in motion, the Eligible Entrant will win that prize specified. Entrants that land on the ‘Draw Entry Only’ wedge will only receive an entry into the Grand Prize draw. Once stock of a particular prize has been exhausted, the prize will no longer appear in the Spin the Wheel game.

Entries permitted

Limit one (1) Spin the Wheel game attempt per person.

For the sake of clarity, all entrants, including those that win a Spin the Wheel prize, will receive an entry into the Grand Prize draw provided they satisfy the entry instructions outlined above.

Winner Determination

Grand Prize:

  • Each Eligible Entrant that plays the Spin the Wheel game will be included in the draw for 1 of 5 HCF Digital Prepaid Mastercard prizes worth $1,000 each (Grand Prize). 
  • Grand Prize Draw: The draw will take place at Think Wink, Level 13/60 Castlereagh St Sydney NSW 2000, Australia 11:00 am AEST on 06/07/26 using computerised random selection. 
  • The first five (5) valid entries drawn will be the winners of a $1,000 HCF Digital Prepaid Mastercard® (“Grand Prize”). 
  • The draw conductor may select additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn. 
  • If a draw is scheduled on the weekend or a public holiday, the draw will be conducted at the same time and location on the following business day. The Promoter will ensure each draw is open for public scrutiny and anyone may witness the draw on request. The winner of a drawn prize is determined by chance. 

Spin the Wheel Prizes 2 to 8 (Instant Win):

  • Winners of Spin the Wheel Prizes 2 to 8 will be notified immediately if they have won on screen upon ‘Spin the Wheel’ game completion, subject to verification. 
  • Quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. 
  • Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Conditions of Entry, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. 
  • Any unclaimed instant win Spin the Wheel prizes will be awarded in the unclaimed prize draw. 
  • Spin the Wheel materials are void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.

HCF Digital Prepaid Mastercard Prize:

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Digital Prepaid Mastercard are not included. The Digital Prepaid Mastercard must be activated within 3 months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. At expiry of the Digital Prepaid Mastercard any unused balance will be forfeited. Eligible customers will not receive notice prior to expiry. Voucher Prizes:

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming any voucher are not included. Any unused balance of a voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of a voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified with the voucher.

Dangerous Prize Conditions:

The winners of Spin the Wheel Prizes 2, 3 and 4 must possess appropriate levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity and other personal characteristics so as to be able to safely redeem the Adrenaline AU, Experience Oz and RedBalloon vouchers (each an “Experience”). The winner must immediately withdraw from the Experience if there is a chance they do not satisfy any such required levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity or other personal characteristics (as disclosed to them). The Promoter may require the winner to submit information relating to their fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity or other personal characteristics to take part in the Experience. Acceptance of the winner following receipt of this information in no way: (a) constitutes a representation or assurance that they are suited to undertake the Experience; or (b) relieves them of the obligation to assess the requirements of the Experience and to withdraw if there is any doubt regarding their suitability to participate in the Experience.

Winner notification

The Spin the Wheel Prize winners will be notified on screen upon ‘Spin the Wheel’ game completion, subject to verification.

The Grand Prize draw winners will be contacted in writing using the details provided within seven (7) days of the draw and published at https://www.hcf.com.au/spintowin by 13 July 2026.

The Promotor must distribute the Spin the Wheel Prizes and the Grand Prize prizes (collectively "Prizes") to the winners within 28 days.

Unclaimed Prizes

Grand Prize Draw:

The Grand Prize winners must claim their Prize by responding to the Promoter's request for a valid email address. In the event of any unclaimed Grand Prizes, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at the same time and place as the original draw on 06/10/26 and will include all Eligible Entrants that played the Spin the Wheel game and did not win a Spin the Wheel Prize. The winners of the unclaimed prize draw will be contacted in writing within seven (7) days and published at https://www.hcf.com.au/spintowin by 13/10/26. The draw conductor may select additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn.

Spin the Wheel Prizes 2 to 8:

Winners of Spin the Wheel Prizes 2 to 8 will be notified immediately if they have won on screen. To redeem the prize, the winner must follow the instructions provided in the winning notification. In the event of any unclaimed Spin the Wheel Prizes, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Think Wink, Level 13/60 Castlereagh St Sydney NSW 2000, Australia 11:00 am AEST on 06/10/26 using computerised random selection and will include all eligible entrants. By the end of the Promotional Period, all prizes from the advertised prize pool of Spin the Wheel Prizes 2 to 8 will be won and all existing claims, unless due to fraud or ineligibility, for prizes and entitlements will be met notwithstanding that the advertised prize pool has been exceeded and quality control matters will not be used as a reason for refusing payment of prizes. Winners of a Spin to Win prize are determined by chance.

If there are no Prize winner(s) or winner(s) for this Promotion cannot be found after a reasonable period of time, the Prizes will be forfeited and the Promoter is not obliged to offer a substitute prize. This information will be published at https://www.hcf.com.au/spintowin.

  1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry (and the Schedule) and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and the Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
  2. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Where applicable, entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  3. Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during the Promotional Period. 
  4. Employees (and their immediate family members) of the agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter, businesses involved in determination of winner/s for the Promotion, businesses involved in the management of the Promotion, any organisation benefiting from the Promotion, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family member" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
  5. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact each Prize winner.
  6. The value of the Prizes is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the Prizes where applicable (inclusive of GST) at the date of publication. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prizes after that date.
  7. No part of a Prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter.
  8. If a Prize (or portion of a Prize) is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that portion of the Prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and specification, if the Promotor and entrant agree in writing and subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by the Promoter to reach an agreement and the Prize is not available due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute it with another item or items determined by the Promoter to be similar and of equal or higher value.
  9. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion. Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Promotion other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.
  10. Each Prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
  11. Entrants' personal information will be collected by the Promoter directly or through the Promoter’s agents or contractors. Personal information will be stored on the Promoter's database. By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter using this information for future marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting entrants electronically. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to run this Promotion and may disclose entrants' personal information to its related entities and to third parties including its contractors and agents, Prize suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this Promotion. The Promoter may also disclose entrants’ personal information to the State and Territory lottery departments as required under the relevant lottery legislation. By entering, entrants consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this Promotion. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim a Prize in the Promotion. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (see www.hcf.com.au/about-us/about-HCF/governance-and-structure/policies/privacy-policy) includes information about: (a) how an entrant can seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them and seek correction of the information; and (b) how to complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.
  12. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner's surname, initial and postcode of residence. 
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of a Prize, if the Promoter determines in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the physical or mental condition necessary to be able to safely participate in or accept the Prize. 
  14. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that a winner may be required to sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving a Prize. 
  15. If a Prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier. The terms and conditions which apply to the Prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Conditions of Entry in the event of any inconsistency. 
  16. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Australian Consumer Law. 
  17. If for any reason beyond the Promoter's control any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a Prize, subject to State or Territory regulation. 
  18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and Entrant's details (including an Entrant's identity, age and place of residence). If a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid. 
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. If there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a Prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the Entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision, acting reasonably, will be final. 
  20. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion or for any loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or willful misconduct) in accepting or using any Prize (or recommendation).This clause shall not apply to the extent that the Promoter has contributed to or caused such loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death and shall not apply to any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in each case the Promoter’s liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 
  21. The winner(s) will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them. 
  22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the Entrant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the Prize or acceptance of the Prize. 
  23. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
