Tests and imaging

You may need to have some blood tests, a chest x-ray and an electrocardiogram (ECG). Sometimes an angiogram is performed as a separate procedure.

Medications

If you’re taking any prescription medications, make sure your doctor is aware of them. They’ll advise you whether to stop taking them before the procedure.
