Sheena Jack appointed as new HCF Chief Executive Officer

Sydney, 1 August, 2017 – HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, has appointed Sheena Jack as Chief Executive Officer, effective today.

Ms Jack has been a key member of the HCF executive team for more than 10 years, first as Chief Financial Officer and then as Chief Strategy Officer from 2014. During her time at HCF, she has been the driving force behind the HCF 2020 Strategy, the strategic roadmap for the business, and the development of HCF Catalyst, the first major corporate accelerator program supporting Health Tech startups.

Ms Jack brings with her extensive experience leading organisation wide transformation and cultural change, balanced with strong financial and operational experience at a senior level.

The HCF Board are delighted with her appointment, endorsing her at a HCF Board meeting held on 27 July. Commenting on the appointment, HCF Chairman Robert Goaley said: “The Board are delighted with Ms Jack’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer, and we were impressed by her extensive experience as a well-known and highly respected member of the HCF executive team and her clear direction for HCF and our members.”

Ms Jack is looking forward to sharing her vision for what the future looks like for HCF, saying: “I’m excited and humbled to have been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer to lead HCF as we embark on a journey of cultural change and transformation that will take us towards our ambition of achieving our 2020 Strategy.”

Her appointment comes at a time when HCF is embarking on a significant transformation program that has been developed over the last 18 months, including new product design, operating systems, and distribution.
