HCF DOMINATES CANSTAR 2023 HEALTH INSURANCE AWARDS INCLUDING COVETED OUTSTANDING VALUE AWARD

FRIDAY, 6 OCTOBER 2023: – HCF, Australia's largest not-for-profit health fund, has dominated the Canstar 2023 Health Insurance Awards, winning 11 awards, including the highly coveted national Outstanding Value Award for Health Insurance.

Reinforcing its reputation for delivering outstanding value for money health cover, the 10 state-based awards recognise the comprehensive value HCF offers across Hospital, Extras and Package cover products for more than 1.9 million members nationwide.

This marks the eighth consecutive year HCF has received the national Outstanding Value accolade, asserting its continued commitment to meet the health and budget needs of everyday Australians.

The annual Canstar Health Insurance Awards is considered the gold standard in the health insurance industry, showcasing excellence in value, coverage, and customer satisfaction.

HCF secured 11 awards across National, Extras and Package cover categories:

  • Extras Insurance Awards - NSW, VIC, QLD, and TAS
  • Hospital & Extras Insurance Awards - VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, and NT

Canstar assessed 30 providers, 420 consumer profiles, 7,487 hospital policy variations, 4,193 extras policy variations, and 32,194 package policy variations as part of its robust awards evaluation process.
