SleepWellBaby: Reclaim Your Sleep With HCF, Tresillian And Sleepfit

A new app-based program,called SleepWellBaby,will help parents of newborns and toddlers up to 3 yearsdraw on the early parenting expertise of Tresillian to gain confidence in their roles as mums and dads.

SleepWellBaby is a collaboration between the 100-year-old not-for-profitchild and family health organisation, Tresillianand digital health company Sleepfit, with financial backing from Australia’s largest not-for-profithealth insurer,HCF.

SleepWellBaby has been designed as an all-in-one app for parents keen to develop their parenting skills and confidence with guidance on daily rhythms tailored for each age and developmental stage from newborns to 3 years of age. Parents will be able to access numerous features, including a digital version of the tried and trusted Tresillian residential-stay program; sleep and settling tips; breastfeeding and nutrition advice; as well as customisable baby planning and tracking tools to help monitor their child’s progress.

Tresillian CEO Robert Mills said the app draws on the team’s experience of assisting almost 60,000 Australian familiesevery year.

Predictability, consistency and persistence are the key themes of the app-based program, which offers round-the-clock tips, tools and insights into a child’s cycles and cues.

Development drew on feedback from 600 families, and Sleepfit CEO and Founder Melissa Webster said the app will be a real game-changer and confidence-builderfor parents struggling withsettling, sleep and developing a daily rhythm that’s right for their child.

“Tresillian’s early parenting programs have transformed hundreds of thousands of lives –including mine,” said Ms Webster. “Having had first-hand experience, it became a passion and priority for me to combine Tresillian’s expertise with Sleepfit’s medical and digital expertise to create the SleepWellBaby app. I’m thrilled to be able to take the program to babies and parents all over the world.”

HCF Chief Executive Officer Sheena Jack said supporting the development of the app is part of the insurer’s commitment to providing Uncommon Care by investing in innovative solutions that lead to better member experiences and health outcomes.

The first 700 HCF members to download the app and register an account will receive access to theSleepWellBaby ‘Once for All’ program through the app free of charge. After that, HCF members who register before 31 December 2020 will receive 20% off any SleepWellBaby app program fee*.
