Bush fire relief
20 January 2020
At HCF we’d like to thank all the businesses, community organisations and people that are taking action to help the bushfire relief and recovery efforts. At HCF we’re supporting the relief effort in a few ways including donating $20,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief fund and $30,000 to the NSW Rural Fire Service. In addition, we’re thankful to those HCF employees who are emergency service volunteers and we have provided them with additional paid special leave to cover their volunteer days.
If you are an HCF member and are experiencing hardship as a result of the bushfires please contact us to discuss how we can assist ranging from premium waivers to temporary suspensions of health insurance cover. Call us on 13 13 34 or drop into your local HCF branch to see how we can help.
HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund protecting Australians since 1932, covers over 1.6 million members with health and life insurance, travel and pet insurance.
