How do I cancel my Overseas Visitors Cover?

To cancel your cover, call our Overseas Visitors Helpline on 13 68 42 (Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5pm (AEST/AEDT). Or email us at OVHC_Service@hcf.com.au. Only the policyholder can cancel cover.

What happens to my first month’s payment if I cancel my Overseas Visitors Cover?

If you cancel your cover, we’ll refund any payments you made in advance, except the first month which is non-refundable.

I’m the policyholder. Can family members (on my policy) access our Overseas Visitors Cover?

They have some access, including making claims, adding dependants, upgrading the level of cover and changing contact details.

Only you (as the policyholder) can make changes like removing someone from the policy, changing payment details, lowering the level of cover and cancelling the cover.

If you want to choose someone on the policy to have the same access as you, complete and submit an Authority to Operate form.
