Aftersurgery

After surgery, you’ll be taken to the recovery room.

Your doctor will see you and give you a prescription for eye drops that you’ll need to use for the next few weeks.

While you may notice some discomfort, most people don’t experience significant pain following cataract surgery.

If you’ve had sedation, you’ll have your IV cannula removed by the medical staff. You’ll have to wait until your doctor decides that you’re fit enough to go and the person taking you home has arrived.
