How’s HCF Healthful different to the My Membership and HCF Thank You apps?
- The HCF Healthful app has been designed to help you improve and manage your health and wellbeing with the help of a 24/7 digital coach and evidence-based programs*.
- The My Membership app is your health cover companion that allows you to view and modify your cover, make fast claims and payments on the go, access a digital membership card and more.
- The HCF Thank You app^ lets you access discounts, offers and rewards through the loyalty program and earn HCF dollars that can be converted into an HCF Digital Prepaid Mastercard, an eligible retailer e-Gift card, or used to help reduce the cost of your health cover premiums+.
Who can use HCF Healthful?
If you’re an HCF member you can use HCF Healthful simply by downloading the app at the App Store or Google Play and registering using your HCF membership number. You must hold an active hospital and/or extras cover when signing up to HCF Healthful. You don’t need to be the primary policyholder to enjoy the benefits of HCF Healthful, anyone on your policy, who’s aged 18 to 90 years old can join. Access to HCF Healthful excludes members on Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC), Accident Only Basic and Ambulance Only policies.
How do I sign up to HCF Healthful?
1. Download HCF Healthful on your mobile via the App Store or Google Play.
2. Select whether you’re new to HCF Healthful or if you're already registered and would like to log in.
3. Complete the registration form using your HCF membership number to confirm you’re a current HCF member and ensure you keep access to the app.
4. To help generate an initial Health Score, enter your personal information including your:
- date of birth
- height
- weight
- gender at birth.
5. Add your email address and create a password. Your password needs to be a minimum of 8 characters and have at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 digit or punctuation character.
6. Once you’ve completed the registration process, you’ll receive a confirmation email and can start using the app to help you achieve your health goals.
What’s a Health Score?
The Health Score helps you understand your personal health and wellbeing status against certain criteria. It’s based on your physical make up (body), how you feel (mind), and how you live (lifestyle). It’s a scientifically calculated number from 0 (low) to 1,000 (high) and moves up or down in real-time, depending on how your body, emotional wellbeing or lifestyle data changes.
If your Health Score is low (0 to 479) or fair (480 to 549) that means there’s room for improvement. If you have a good (550 to 609) or very good (610 to 679) Health Score, you’re on the right path to improving your overall wellness. If you reach an excellent Health Score (680 to 1,000), we encourage you to keep up the good work.
You’ll be asked to complete your assessment after registration, but if you decide to skip it, you can come back and complete it later within the home screen of HCF Healthful.
