RAC and HCF in new partnership to put health first

Perth, Western Australia, 21 March 2017 –  RAC and HCF have joined forces to offer 900,000 RAC members discounted health insurance cover from today.

RACI Chief Executive John Stringer said the partnership marked an important milestone for RAC Insurance, already WA’s most trusted car and home insurer, which will celebrate 70 years of operation in WA later this year.

“Like RAC, HCF is not-for-profit and reinvests its profits to benefit members and the community,” Mr Stringer said.

“By offering health insurance, we are encouraging RAC members to protect their most important assets: their health and the health of their families.”

HCF Managing Director Shaun Larkin said HCF was excited to partner with RAC because of its proud history as a mutual in Western Australia and strong track record of putting members first.

“HCF is Australia’s largest not-for-profit health insurer, covering 1.5 million people. We work hard to improve and safeguard the health of our members. The opportunity to grow our presence in Western Australia through a partnership with an iconic local organisation like RAC has us genuinely excited.

“We focus on helping all of our members lead healthier lives and get the most from the healthcare system. Later this year, we will be celebrating 85 years supporting Australians’ health journey.”

RAC members will have access to HCF’s exclusive membership range from today.
