More for eyes

The HCF More for Eyes Program

HCF members with extras cover now have access to a new program to help look after their eyes.

With our More for Eyes Program you will have free eye health checks through the use of digital retinal imaging (a photograph is taken of the inside of your eye to establish its health). This is not deducted from your annual optical benefit, it's just another way HCF gives you more. Also available are a range of no-gap glasses from participating providers, depending on your type of health cover and available optical limit.

Every level of our extra's cover provides for no-gap single vision and bi-focal glasses. Multi-focal glasses are available at no-gap for Super Multicover, Multicover, Fit and Free, Healthclub, Healthmate Ultimate, Smart Extras, Healthcover Plus Extras and Top Extras. Members on General Extras Plus, Young Singles and Couples, Healthmate Essentials, Healthmate Advanced and Healthmate Executive may have a small gap cost to pay. If you are on Healthmate Starter please note this program does not apply to you.

Our program will be available initially through HCF EYECARE Centres and Specsavers stores nationwide.

All HCF recognised optical providers may apply to participate in the program, giving you more choices and lower out-of-pocket expenses. Ask them to apply to help you obtain more from your HCF membership.

Planning on visiting an HCF More for Eyes Program provider?

Remember, to take advantage of this offer you will need to provide to the Optometrist or dispenser:

• The name of your level of cover (for example Multicover) and
• Your HCF membership card so that you can be paid on the spot.
