Natural therapists services are subject to the minimum standards set out in the Private Health Insurance (Accreditation) Rules 2008

Select a profession below for our recognition requirements:

Health Management Programs

  • Some HCF products provide benefits towards heath management programs.
  • Download flyer.
  • Download an application to become a recognised provider of health management programs (please note we do not individually recognise providers of exercise regimes because a GP referral is needed to claim for exercise or gym benefits).

Suppliers of orthopaedic/surgical footwear

  • Some HCF products provide benefits towards orthopaedic shoes.
The supplier (who may not be a podiatrist) must be recognised by HCF for the provision of footwear. Click here for information on claiming towards orthopaedic/surgical footwear.

Suppliers of foot orthotics

  • Some HCF products provide benefits for artificial appliances which include foot orthotics. Some products provide benefits for foot orthotics only when supplied by podiatrists. Click here for Provider Information Fact Sheet for sports physicians and other allied health professions who are qualified to supply foot orthotics but who are not podiatrists
