If you join HCF you'll also receive immediate cover on all services which usually
require up to six months waiting period. These include hospital, general dental,
physio and chiropractic services. This offer is for new members taking out Hospital
and Extras cover. Waiver does not apply to waiting periods of more than 6 months
including 12 months for obstetric services or pre-existing ailments or conditions.
Psychiatric, rehabilitation and palliative care services, which have a 2 month waiting
period, are also excluded from this offer.
